What do I wear to class?

Please ensure that you wear yoga type clothing for class. Tops and pants should not be too loose fitting as it will catch on the pole and make it more difficult to maneuver yourself around or on it. It is helpful to wear fitted clothes and no lotion or hand jewelry on the pole. For beginners it is best to wear pants as it is common to get little bruises the first time you try pole dancing. You can wear socks but it best to pole dance barefoot and without shoes the first time.

Is there a weight restriction?

My specific pole set up also has a weight limit of 200lbs.

What if I am shy?

Many women are somewhat shy to start but it doesn't take long for most to let their inhibitions go and have fun with it. The environment is meant to be fun, supportive and help you awaken the vixen within.

Do I have to be fit to pole dance?

Pole dancing requires you to be able to lifst your body weight which requires a certain amount of strength. Having said that, with proper stretching and taking it slow to start, it is a fitness workout that most can pick up and get involved in.
